Treating clients fairly
This principle, also known as treating customers fairly (TCF), ensures that financial institutions provide specific, fairness outcomes for financial customers. According to the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA), regulated entities have to demonstrate six TCF Outcomes to their clients throughout the product life cycle, from product design and promotion, though advice and servicing, to complaints and claims handling.
